Sharon Garro

Sharon Garro is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director of Graduate Counselling Studies at Alphacrucis University College since June 2019, specializing in Positive Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology, Trauma Informed Practice, Counselling and Education, and Professional Supervision. In addition, Sharon serves as a Consultant Coach at Growth Coaching International Pty Ltd and as a Visible Wellbeing Facilitator for VWB Professor Lea Waters PhD, providing professional development and mentoring to schools on the Visible Wellbeing framework. Previously, roles included ADHD Coach at Hobart ADHD Consultants, Instructional Coach and Head of Wellbeing at Red Rock Christian College, Consulting School Psychologist at Redirection Psychology, and Psychologist in self-employment. Educational qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies at La Trobe University, a Master's in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne, and a Master's in Counselling from Western Sydney University, among others.
