Michael Hanson

Michael Hanson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael founded Growth Genie in 2019 and currently serves as the Founder & CEO, as well as a Public Speaker. At Growth Genie, they speak at digital events and conferences on topics such as preventing ego-driven emotions in sales, their career journey in Medellin, and customer-centric sales cadences. Additionally, they host The COSMIC Bridge Podcast, sharing inspiring stories that connect profession with passion and help individuals find their higher purpose.

Prior to Growth Genie, Michael founded enMotion in 2017. Michael also served as a Member at Pavilion, an MSP Expert and a Member at Modern Sales Pros, and a Supporter at Beam. At Trellick Films, they worked as an Advisor, while at CloudTask, they held the roles of Board Advisor and VP Growth (Sales & Marketing).

In 2016, Michael worked at Opinno as a Content Manager, where they designed and managed the content for large-scale innovation events. Michael facilitated design thinking workshops, designed event themes and breakout sessions, recruited keynote speakers, and facilitated relationships between investors and entrepreneurs. In 2014, they worked as an Account Manager at InnoCentive, managing open innovation Challenges for various clients and sectors, including pharma, neuroscience robotics, and international development.

Michael Hanson attended St Paul's School from 2002 to 2007, where they studied Politics, English Literature, Spanish, and Art at the A-levels level. Following this, they went on to the University of Nottingham from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Politics. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a UK Driver's Licence from the DVLA in October 2009.
