Zimasa Dziba has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They began their career at EY as an Article Clerk from 2003 to 2005. After that, they worked as a Client Service Executive at EY for a brief period from January 2006 to September 2006.
Zimasa then moved on to Engen, where they held multiple positions. They started as an Internal Auditor in October 2006 and worked in this role until September 2007. Following that, they served as a Group Accountant from October 2007 to July 2009. Zimasa then took on the role of Internal Audit Manager from August 2009 to July 2011. They later became the Regional Financial Services Manager, holding the position from August 2011 to April 2014. Finally, they served as a Group Risk Manager from April 2014 to November 2017.
In 2018, Zimasa joined South32 as the Principal Finance Governance, overseeing finance-related matters until August 2021.
Currently, Zimasa is the Head of Risk Management and Compliance at Growthpoint Properties, starting in June 2022.
Zimasa Dziba's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology & Business Management from the University of Fort Hare, which was obtained from 1997 to 1999. Following this, from 2000 to 2001, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town. In 2002, Zimasa completed a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Lastly, between 2020 and 2022, they attended Henley Business School to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
