Alon Rechavia has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Alon started their career in 2009 as a Military Intelligence Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, where they performed qualitative and quantitative analysis and wrote analysis papers for various units. After that, they worked as the Head of Intelligence Desk at Bagira Systems, where they examined client analysis and provided intelligence aid for military combat units.
In 2016, Alon joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel as an Intelligence Analyst, managing contacts with security officers and improving operational information features. Alon also guided high-level security delegations from overseas.
Following this, Alon worked at NAYA Technologies as a BI Analyst and Tableau Developer, leading Tableau-based projects and developing dashboards and reports for clients across multiple verticals. Alon continued at NAYA-College as an SQL and Tableau Lecturer, teaching hundreds of students and providing tailor-made Tableau tutorials for clients in different industries.
In 2021, Alon joined StreamElements as a Product Analyst, where they performed cross-functional work across two product squads and conducted ad-hoc analyses to provide key insights and unlock opportunities. Alon optimized email sequencer cadences, resulting in increased conversions within the marketing and product funnels.
Currently, Alon is working as a Product Data Analyst at GrowthSpace, starting in 2022.
Alon Rechavia completed a Data Analyst Expert - Training course at NAYA-College from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2015 to 2018, earning a B.A in International Relations and Islamic & Middle Eastern Studies. Additionally, Alon obtained several certifications in data analysis and related fields, including Tableau Analyst, Tableau Community Leader, Tableau Site Administrator, Data Analysis with Spreadsheets Course, Intro to Python for Data Science Course, SQL for Data Science, Intro to SQL for Data Science Course, Joining Data in PostgreSQL Course, and Tableau Desktop Certified Associate. The certifications were earned between 2018 and 2021 from institutions such as Tableau Software, DataCamp, and Coursera.
