Dan Rekstad has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan started their career in 1996 as a District Manager at Video Update, where they focused on store operations, business plans, customer service, and training program development. Dan continued in the role until 2001 when they joined Movie Gallery as a District Manager.

In 2010, Dan joined Hoonuit (formerly Atomic Learning) as an Inside Sales Representative, where they worked directly with K-12 schools in the Northeast to promote professional development and technology training solutions. Dan then moved up to the role of K-12 Northeast Territory Manager, where they worked closely with K-12 Districts to support professional development, classroom technology integration, and software support. Later, they became an Educational Sales Consultant, working directly with Higher Education Institutions to provide solutions that met their current needs.

Currently, Dan works at GrowthZone AMS as an Account Executive and Project Manager. As a Project Manager, they assist associations and member-based organizations with database set-up, data migration, website integration, and training. In their role as an Account Executive, they work closely with associations to align the purchase of new association management software, focusing on growing, retaining, and engaging members.

Throughout their career, Dan Rekstad has demonstrated a passion for assisting others and a strong commitment to understanding and meeting the goals and initiatives of organizations they work with.

Dan Rekstad attended Little Falls Community Schools from 1989 to 1993, however, no degree or field of study information was provided. From 1994 to 1995, they enrolled at Northwest Technical Institute and obtained an Associates degree in Architectural Drafting.
