Shouvic Roy

Shouvic Roy is an accomplished professional currently serving as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Outlier since August 2024. Additionally, Shouvic has been a Stock Trader at Groww, India since January 2020. Academic involvement includes a position as Class Representative at the Department of Chemical Technology at the University of Calcutta from September 2023 to September 2024 and serving as HEAD OF TEAMS COORDINATOR for the Hult Prize Foundation from October 2023 to January 2024. Previous experience includes freelance writing for INDOLOGY: A Friendly English Magazine from August 2018 to March 2020. Shouvic is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Technology with a specialization in Petrochemicals & Petroleum Refinery Engineering at the University of Calcutta, expected to graduate in 2026, and has previously studied Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Acharya Prafulla Chandra College. Early education includes a Higher Secondary qualification in Science from Chakdaha Model School and a Secondary qualification from Satish Chandra Memorial School.
