Sanjeewa Ariyarathne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and years. Sanjeewa began their career at Epic Lanka Group as a Trainee Software Engineer in 2011. Sanjeewa then joined hSenid Mobile Solutions (Pvt) Ltd in 2011 as an Associate Software Engineer, eventually transitioning to the role of Software Engineer in 2012. In 2013, Sanjeewa moved to Cambio Software Engineering where they held various roles including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Associate Tech Lead, Tech Lead, Senior Tech Lead, and finally Associate Software Architect. Sanjeewa worked at Cambio Software Engineering until 2020 when they joined grubtech as a Software Architect.
Sanjeewa Ariyarathne completed their education in a chronological manner. Sanjeewa first attended Royal College, Colombo 07 from 1994 to 2006, where they specialized in Mathematics. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Colombo from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Computer Science degree. Finally, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Computer Science degree at the same university.
