Jason McDonald, CPD, FASPE, currently serves as a Project Manager at Grumman/Butkus Associates, with responsibilities that include plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems design, as well as project management and quality assurance. With a long-standing involvement in the American Society of Plumbing Engineers since 1994, Jason has held leadership positions including Vice President of Membership and President of the Chicago Chapter, reflecting a commitment to advancing the plumbing engineering profession. Previous experience includes roles in mechanical contracting, where Jason developed expertise in mechanical systems estimation and project management, along with a tenure as a team photographer for local football and hockey teams. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
