Carlos Añasco

Vice President WU Sales South America at GRUNDFOS

Carlos Añasco has extensive work experience in the sales and management fields. Carlos started their career at Ventilación Teva as a Sales Engineer and later served as the Executive Director of Sales. During this time, they achieved sales budgets, designed industrial ventilation systems, and conducted feasibility studies. Carlos then joined KSB Company as a Sales Engineer, where they developed customers in the water utility, industry, and energy plant sectors.

In 2002, Carlos joined GRUNDFOS and held various roles. Carlos served as an Engineer of Sales, Deputy General Manager for Grundfos Andinas, and WU Business Developer. Carlos successfully implemented growth strategies, established sales companies in new markets, and achieved brand recognition. Currently, Carlos is serving as the Vice President of WU Sales South America at GRUNDFOS, leading a competent team and aiming for leadership in the region.

Carlos Añasco has a diverse education history. Carlos completed a short-term training program in sustainable drainage systems for cities at the University of Buenos Aires in 2019. In 2016, they attended a training course on leading managers at the Grundfos Academy. Prior to this, in 2014, they obtained a certificate in business management from Universidad de 'San Andrés'. Carlos also has several certifications from the Grundfos Academy, including leadership training in 2008, mixers and flowmakers in 2005, B2B in 2004, customer-based communication in 2003, and product application in 2002. In 2000, they completed international trade training at the Fundación Bank Boston. Lastly, Carlos holds an engineer's degree in electrician from UTN Regional Pacheco, which they obtained from 1989 to 1998.
