Kristel Zaman

Kristel Zaman, MS, PCM, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kristel is currently employed at Houston Christian University since 2023, where they serve as the Women in Leadership Program Advisor. Prior to that, they worked at GRUNDFOS from 2021 to 2023 as the Director of Marketing and Product Management, as well as the Global ERG Lead for the Women@Grundfos ERG. Kristel also has a significant tenure at Xylem Inc. from 2007 to 2021, where they held various roles including Senior Manager of Product Management, Flygt Product Marketing Manager, North America Marketing & Business Development Manager for Flygt Large Systems, Marketing & Business Development Manager for Flygt Custom Pumps, and Applications Engineer. Additionally, they served as the VP of Membership for the Professional Edge Toastmasters Club in 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Associate at Ameritherm Inc. from 2006 to 2007 and as a Catalogue Sales Manager at AJ Tooted AS from 1995 to 2004.

Kristel Zaman holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business, which they obtained between 2019 and 2021. Kristel also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Marketing from Roberts Wesleyan University in 2011. In 2010, Kristel completed a Project Management Certificate Program at the University at Buffalo. Kristel'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering with a focus on Chemical and Food Processing Technology from Tallinn Technical University, Estonia, attained between 1992 and 1999.

Additionally, Kristel Zaman has obtained various certifications, including the Professional Certified Marketer (PCM™) from the American Marketing Association in August 2012. Kristel also holds a Vibration Analyst: Category II certification in accordance with ISO 18436-2, which they earned from the Vibration Institute in September 2010. Kristel has further expanded their knowledge and skills through certifications in digital leadership, digital transformation, digital twins, innovation leadership, strategic agility, performance management, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, all obtained from LinkedIn.
