Anil Dhussa

Anil Dhussa is a seasoned professional in the bioenergy sector, currently serving as Chief Advisor at Gruner Renewable Energy since March 2023. As a self-employed consultant since September 2016, Anil specializes in bioenergy projects including biogas, waste-to-energy, and biofuels, providing comprehensive solutions and acting as a lender’s engineer. Anil's prior extensive experience includes a significant tenure with the Government of India from September 1989 to March 2015, where roles included Adviser and Director for biogas and waste-to-energy initiatives and head of the Biofuel Programme, contributing to policy development and the establishment of numerous biogas plants. Earlier work as a Senior Specialist at AFPRO focused on the development of the Deenbandhu Biogas plant model, which became widely adopted in India and internationally. Anil holds a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, completed in 1977.
