Alejandro J. has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Alejandro is currently the Head of Sustainable Investing at Grünfin since September 2021. Previously, they worked at J.P. Morgan for several years, holding various leadership positions. From 2016 to 2019, Alejandro served as the Managing Director - Market Head of Investments for Southern Cone Wealth Management, where they led a team responsible for advising clients and managing investments in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they were the Managing Director - Market Head of Investments for Latin America Switzerland Wealth Management, overseeing a team that provided investment advisory services for clients across Latin America. Alejandro also worked as an Executive Director and Vice President - Investments Advisor from 2008 to 2014, where they advised ultra-high-net-worth clients from Mexico on investment portfolios. Alejandro began their career at J.P. Morgan as an Associate and Analyst, providing investment advice to clients from Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, from 2003 to 2008. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Alejandro worked briefly as an Analyst in 2002 and 2001.

Alejandro J. pursued their education at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México from 1998 to 2003. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance. In 2001, they had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on Business Administration.

In terms of additional certifications, Alejandro J. obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 2005. Additionally, they obtained several FINRA US Securities Licenses, including Series 7, Series 9, Series 10, and Series 63 in the year 2016.
