Ricardo Rafael has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Ricardo began their career as an IT Consultant and Computer Programmer at AXA Portugal in April 2006. Ricardo then moved on to become a Computer Systems Analyst, specializing in interfaces between AXA's core and financial systems.
In January 2008, Ricardo took on the role of IT Consultant, where they led internationalization projects for AXA's core business system. Ricardo was responsible for analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and defining technical and migration plans. Ricardo continued to work in this role until December 2008.
From January 2009 to November 2011, Ricardo served as a Computer Systems Designer and Analyst and IT Team Leader. Ricardo led the development and design of interfaces and migration requirements for international projects across various OPCOs. Additionally, they provided support, maintenance, and development for critical systems.
In May 2012, Ricardo took up the position of Project and Account Manager at AXA Portugal, where they oversaw project delivery and managed client accounts. Ricardo later transitioned into the role of Computer Systems Technical Designer in November 2011 before assuming the role of Project Manager for IT Operations and Service Management in April 2013.
Ricardo joined Ageas Portugal Grupo in April 2016 as a Service Manager and Project Manager. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing IT service management processes and leading the IT project team. Currently, they serve as the Head of Architecture, leading Artificial Intelligence and Contact Center Innovation programs.
Overall, Ricardo Rafael has acquired extensive experience in IT service management, project management, and system design and analysis throughout their career at AXA Portugal and Ageas Portugal Grupo.
Ricardo Rafael attended Valsassina from 1993 to 1999. From 2004 to 2008, they studied at Instituto Superior de Gestão. Ricardo obtained additional certifications such as "Creating Business Value with Technology" from Vlerick Business School in July 2021, "COBIT 5 Foundation" from APMG-International in September 2014, and "ITIL Foundations V3" from EXIN in October 2013.
