Alberto Vasquez Figueroa serves as the Director Sénior de Proyectos de Crédito at Grupo Aval since October 2022, focusing on analyzing and managing the consolidated exposure of Aval Banks with corporate clients to mitigate credit risk and enhance profitability. Previously held positions include Jefe de Inteligencia de Precios y Tasas at Banco de Bogotá for nearly a decade, overseeing interest rates across all bank segments, as well as roles in credit risk management and financial analysis at various organizations such as Colpatria Multibanca del Grupo Scotiabank and Banco AV Villas. Alberto possesses a Master of Business Administration in business management from CESA, along with specialized diplomas in international accounting standards and financial management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad Piloto de Colombia, where an undergraduate degree in economics was also completed.
