Fernando Alcala Sobrino

Fernando Alcala Sobrino currently serves as the Global Risk Director and Global Treasury Director at Grupo Bimbo, where responsibilities include the supervision, control, and design of investment strategies for pension plans, saving vehicles, and cash investments since January 2018. Prior to this role, Fernando worked as an Asset Manager at Profuturo from February 2017 to January 2018, where duties involved being an Alternative Investments Analyst and a Middle Office Analyst. Fernando holds a B.S. in Quantitative Finance from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, attained in 2016, and has completed studies at Copenhagen Business School in 2015 and at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2009 to 2012.
