Jon Smythe

Jon Smythe is an experienced professional in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as Managing Director of Grupo Bimbo since July 2018, following a role as Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain Director. Prior to this, Jon held the position of Commercial Director at The New York Bakery Company from January 2015 to July 2018, and contributed significantly to market development as Business Development Director for ARYZTA LLC in Europe from February 2011 to January 2015. Jon's career includes roles such as Group Marketing & Innovation Director at ARYZTA Foods, Commercial Director at The Hain Celestial Group, Head of Marketing EMEA at ConAgra Foods, and positions at McCain Foods Limited, Asda Stores Ltd, and Barclays as a Marketing Graduate Trainee. Jon holds a CIM Diploma in Marketing from Oxford Business School and a BA Hons in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London.
