Ricardo Albertz Rathje

Ricardo Albertz Rathje has had a long and varied career in the maritime industry. Ricardo began their career in 2003 as a Husbanding Agent for Ultramar Agencia Marítima. In 2005, they moved to Green Andes Chile S.A. where they held the roles of Sales Executive and Asistente de Operaciones. Ricardo then returned to Ultramar Agencia Marítima in 2010 as an Operador de Naves Tramp and Product Manager. In 2011, they joined Navegacion del Pacifico Agencia Maritima Limitada as a Line Manager. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Ultramar Agencia Marítima Ltda. in the roles of Regional Business Development and Key Account Manager. In 2014, they moved to Norton Lilly Shipping Mexico S.A. as a Business Development Manager. In 2018, they joined Arval Relsa Chile as a Business Manager. In 2019, they began working at Evergreen Shipping Agency (Chile) SpA as an Operations and Logistics Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Operations Officer for Grupo Central.

Ricardo Albertz Rathje began their education in 2001 at the Instituto Superior Aleman de Comercio, INSALCO, where they earned a degree in Schifffahrtskaufmann with a focus in Comercio Internacional. Ricardo continued their studies at the Universidad Diego Portales from 2006 to 2010, earning an Ingeniero degree with a focus in Ingles, Economia, and Finanzas. Ricardo then completed a Magister en Finanzas degree at the same university from 2009 to 2010, focusing on Finanzas and Economia. Ricardo also attended the Colegio Aleman de Santiago, but did not receive a degree.
