Karla Turban has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Karla most recently worked at Grupo Expansión as the Head of Corporate Sales and Events for Publishing, where they developed commercial strategies and organized various events for brands such as Expansión, Quién, and Elle. Prior to that, they held the role of Corporate Sales Subdirector at the same company. Before joining Grupo Expansión, Karla worked at HBO Latin America as Ad Sales CINEMAX, at Viacom International Media Networks as an Ad Sales Manager, at Televisa as a Senior Sales Manager, and at TV Azteca as a National Sales Executive. Karla also gained experience in public relations and sales at The Jorvi Entertainment Company.
Karla Turban attended Universidad Intercontinental from 2002 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Ciencias de la Comunicación, specializing in Comunicación, general. Following that, they enrolled in Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación, A.C. in 2007, completing their studies in 2008 with a degree in Mercadotecnia Estratégica, specializing in Especialidad. In February 2021, Karla Turban obtained a certification in Curso de Redes Sociales from eduMac Centro de Artes Digitales.
