Silvia Gold

Silvia Gold is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of health, research, and public policy. Currently serving as a Miembro del Patronato at the Elcano Royal Institute and as Co-Founder of Grupo Insud since 1977, Silvia has also held the position of Presidente at Fundación Mundo Sano since 1998, focusing on neglected tropical diseases. As a Founding Board Member of the WHO Foundation and an Advisory Board Member at various institutions including Harvard's Center for International Development and the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Silvia contributes to global health initiatives and policy development. With a Doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires, Silvia has fostered impactful partnerships across multidisciplinary teams, emphasizing sustainable public health practices.
