Jorge Gandar Ortega

Jorge Gandar Ortega is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Luxun Energy since May 2018, where the focus is on financing sustainable solutions. Additionally, Jorge holds a position on the Board of Directors at L2 Capital, a private equity fund based in Nuevo León that specializes in renewable energy investments, since January 2019. Prior experience includes serving as the Manager of Monterrey and Project Leader at Solardec from September 2015 to April 2018, where energy solutions for families and businesses were developed using photovoltaic systems. Earlier roles include serving as a Sales Consultant at Grupo Premier "Chevrolet Mazatlán" in 2014, enhancing sales efficacy, and founding the magazine Revista Cartelera de Mazatlán, which provided valuable experience in marketing and enterprise sales. Jorge holds a degree in Innovation and Development of Alternative Energies from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidad de Guadalajara.
