Javier Brea has a diverse work experience. Javier worked at Grupo Peñaflor, starting as a Regional Sales Manager from August 2008 to August 2014. Javier then served as an Export Manager from September 2014 to August 2015, followed by a role as a Regional Export Manager from September 2015 to December 2016. From January 2017 to June 2019, they held the position of Senior Marketing Manager for El Esteco Winery, responsible for portfolio strategy, new product developments, media campaigns, press, and activation. Javier then transitioned to the role of Head of Trade Marketing International Markets from June 2019 to October 2020. Javier took on the responsibility of Head of Sales Latin America at Grupo Peñaflor from October 2020 to April 2022, where they successfully increased export volumes and value. From May 2022 to November 2023, they served as the Head of Sales Europe, Middle East, and Africa, responsible for business development and full P&L responsibility. Currently, Javier is the Head of Go to Market and Sales Planning at Grupo Peñaflor, where they focus on developing go-to-market strategies and implementing sales planning for export markets. Before joining Grupo Peñaflor, Javier worked as a Financial Analyst at GE from March 2007 to August 2008 and at The Mosaic Company from June 2006 to March 2007.
Javier Brea completed an Executive MBA from Universidad de 'San Andrés' from 2021 to 2022. Javier also participated in an Executive Corporate Program at the same university in 2016. Brea holds a degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' from 2004 to 2008, and they also earned a degree in Accounting from the same university from 2008 to 2010. In 2021, they completed a Wine & Spirit Education Trust course, earning a WSET Level II certification.
