He holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering and a postgraduate degree from the University of New York. From 1989 to 1991, he was a consultant for Accenture (Andersen Consulting) in the financial institutions sector. Mr. Sereno was also the business development director of Grupo Arbi. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Sereno served as a senior director at Banco de Investimentos Garantia. For approximately 5 years, he was director of investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston – CSFB in Brazil. Since 2003, he has been a founding partner of Singular Assessoria Financeira Ltda. A member of the Company's Board of Directors since 2006, he was re-elected as a member of our Board of Directors on April 22, 2020.
