Grupo Venemergencia is a conglomerate dedicated to provide health services in Venezuela. It was established in 2004 and employs 130 Venezuelans. It is composed of five companies and one non-profit organization. The companies focus on emergency medical services (Venemergencia); homecare services (Clini-Casa); laboratory services (Venelab); occupational health services (Veneocupacional); and technology for telemedicine and mobile health (Venetecnologia). The non-profit organization (Fundacion Venemergencia) educates paramedics in association with the Universidad Simón Bolívar and establishes emergency medical brigades in shantytowns, as a means for developing a sustainable model of emergency care for vulnerable communities.
