Shaishav Merchant

Shaishav Merchant has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Shaishav started their career as an IT Manager at Nissal Electronics Ltd in 1994 and worked there until 1997. Shaishav then joined Kaybee Exim Pte ltd in 1997 and held the role of Information Technology Manager until 2002. During their time at Kaybee Exim, they implemented an Enterprise Email and Messaging Solution and led the team in designing and developing an Order Management Solution. From 2003 to 2007, Shaishav held the role of Senior Manager Information Technology at Kaybee Exim, where they integrated financial systems with an order management solution and implemented Dynamics NAV across 17 offices.

In 2008, Shaishav joined Texvista International Pte Ltd as the General Manager Information Technology. Shaishav facilitated a 40% revenue growth by improving cross-border communication and consolidated the messaging and information sharing platform. Shaishav also implemented a Business Analytics solution to enhance visibility and expedite decision making.

Most recently, Shaishav served as the Vice President of IT at Grupo Kaybee since 2015. In this role, they led a global IT team across 13 countries, formulated IT strategies, and managed the organization's tech needs and budget. Shaishav also developed policies, best practices, and cross-functional collaborations to drive efficiency and compliance.

Shaishav Merchant obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Management Accounts from K. J. Somaiya School during the years 1976 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Vartak College between 1989 and 1993.
