Gian Luigi Lercari

Gian Luigi Lercari was born in Genoa in 1975, where he graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Genoa. He is divided between Genoa, where the homonymous Group is based - of which he is the CEO.

Manager with proven and diversified experience, gained during a long process of technical and insurance analysis in the Non-Life branches, as well as managerial and organizational in various sectors.

He holds the role of Managing Director in Green Charge Srl which operates in the field of reconditioning and assembly of lead batteries; he is a partner in Natur World SpA, an innovative company engaged in the design and production of biodegradable and/or compostable bioplastics; is a partner in Energeticamente Srl, a company specialized in the sector of construction of renewable energy plants.

Despite having gained a long experience in the expert field in the footsteps traced by his father Rodolfo, he made a managerial change in the management of the family business, significantly contributing to the transition from the original long-established professional technical studio to a diversified group of service companies, characterized from a highly innovative and multidisciplinary approach, able not only to field highly specialized teams according to the type of case to be managed but also to provide multiple services ranging from Information Technology, to TPA and outsourcing, to training, to repair direct and many more.

He was the protagonist of the important transaction, of high strategic value, which - at the end of 2020 - led to the entry of the MutuiOnline Group with a majority stake in the company structure, with the aim of creating commercial synergies and sharing of operational best practices between the two Groups.

AIPAI member: (Italian Association of Fire Insurance Experts, member of IILA (International Institute of Loss Adjusting) and ANRA teacher, has taken part in numerous courses at SDA Bocconi (School of Business Management of the Bocconi University of Milan) and at the Cineas Consorzio Universitario for Insurance Engineering/Politecnico di Milano.

He has been a speaker at many conferences at public and private institutions.
