Claire Shiland

Claire Shiland is the Group Director of Operations at Grwp Cynefin. Prior to this, they served as District Inspector for North Wales Police, Board Member for Women in Social Housing (WISH) North Wales, and Head of Neighbourhood Services at Cartrefi Conwy. Claire has also worked as Tenant Engagement and Liaison for Isle of Anglesey County Council and Management Trainee (Housing) for Isle of Anglesey County Council.

Claire Shiland has a Bachelor of Arts in social policy from The University of Manchester, a postgraduate degree in housing management from Liverpool John Moores University, and a Bachelor of Arts in social policy 2.1 from Bangor University. Claire also has a policing practice degree from Teesside University.

Claire Shiland reports to Shan Lloyd Williams, Chief Executive. They are on a team with Melville Evans - Group Director of Innovation & Growth, Bryn Ellis - Group Director of Resources.
