John Wu

John Wu has a long history in the technology industry. John started with Motorola, Inc. in 1996 as the DSP Manager, where they led a multinational team of DSP developers on software and algorithm development for wireless CDMA chipsets. In 2000, they joined Novatel Wireless, Inc. and held the roles of Vice President, Advanced Engineering and MiFi Labs, as well as Vice President Global Software. In 2016, they co-founded and became the CEO of Gryphon Online Safety, Inc., where they worked on making it simple to protect home and small business networks with an AI powered smart mesh WiFi system.

John Wu completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. John then went on to complete their Master of Science in DSP and Image Processing from the same university.
