Pavan Arora

Pavan Arora is currently the Head of AI at Gryphon Investors, a position held since 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner, MD, and CTO at Cerberus Capital Management, and as an Advisory Board Member at Menlo Ventures, focusing on data, AI, SaaS, cybersecurity, and supply chain. As CTO and Chief AI Officer at Aramark from 2018 to 2021, Pavan developed the Marko AI platform and secured executive support for modern data initiatives. Pavan has also held leadership roles at IBM, where significant contributions were made to Watson's development and data monetization strategies, and was a Founding Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Additional roles include Chief Innovation Officer at Aptara, Entrepreneur in Residence at HU Investments LLC, and founder of Conversation Technology. Pavan's early career included serving as Head of E-Commerce and Data at the World Bank. Pavan's educational background includes degrees from The London School of Economics and The Johns Hopkins University.
