Sangeetha Joseph, LLMSW, serves as the Internship Coordinator and Community Resource Advisor/Crisis Worker at Gryphon Place since April 2017. Previously, Sangeetha worked as a Volunteer Social Worker at Bethany Christian Services from 2012 to May 2015 and at Vera House, Inc. as a Volunteer Social Worker for the 24 Hour Crisis and Support Line from December 2010 to July 2011, providing counseling for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Earlier experience includes being an English Language Teacher at St. Stephen's College in Hong Kong from 2008 to 2009 and a Program Officer at Save a Family Plan from August 2001 to July 2003. Sangeetha holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stella Maris College (1999-2001), a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights and Advocacy from Human Rights Advocacy and Research Foundation (2000-2001), and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University (1995-1998).
