Marjani Williams

Vice President, De&i And Client Service at G&S

Marjani Williams has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at CEDA, starting as a Marketing Intern and later becoming a Research and Development Coordinator. In 2013, they joined the Chicago Department of Public Health as an Information Coordinator until 2017. Following that, they served as the Director of Public Affairs at the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation from 2017 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, Marjani worked as the Deputy Director of the Illinois Office of Communications and Information at the Illinois Department of Central Management Services. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President at G&S Business Communications, specializing in DE&I and Client Service since 2021.

Marjani Williams pursued their education starting in 2004 at Eastern Illinois University, where they studied Journalism and Public Relations. Marjani completed their Bachelor's degree in this field in 2008. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they attended DePaul University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Public Relations and Advertising.
