Jose-Angel Lopez

Jose-Angel Lopez has a diverse range of work experience. JOSE-ANGEL started their career as an International Logistics & Sales Manager at LKW WALTER Internationale Transportorganisation AG, where they were responsible for organizing lorry transport across Europe. JOSE-ANGEL then held sales and management positions at Interagency Network Multiple Listing Services SL and Promotores Taleo SL, where they successfully developed sales partnerships and secured contracts.

In 2005, Lopez joined Frunet SL, a leading European producer and exporter of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. JOSE-ANGEL served as a Sales & Business Development Manager and later as a Commercial & Business Development Director for Fresh-cut. During their time at Frunet, they achieved significant success in securing supply contracts and making the company the first to sell fresh-cut fruit in Spain.

Lopez then worked as the European Commercial Manager at Fruit Growers Alliance B.V., where they consolidated and grew sales with retail clients across Europe. JOSE-ANGEL also explored business opportunities in the Agri-food sector in Latin America and the United Arab Emirates.

Most recently, Lopez held the role of Senior Account Manager and Director Exportacion at G's, a European sales and marketing company for a specialist producer of salad vegetables and fruits. JOSE-ANGEL achieved significant sales growth with major European retail clients.

JOSE-ANGEL LOPEZ completed their education with a BA(Hons) in Economics and Business from Universidad de Valladolid in Spain from 1992 to 1997. JOSE-ANGEL further pursued international education opportunities, spending an academic year as an Erasmus student at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck in Austria in 1997-1998 and an academic year as an exchange student at Universität Augsburg in Germany in 1998-1999. Later, they obtained an MBA in International Trade from ICEX-CECO Business School in Madrid, Spain in 2011-2012. Additionally, from 2001 to 2002, they attended Bristol Business School at UWE Bristol in the UK, where they earned their BA(Hons) in International Business Economics.
