Juan Antonio Martinez Leon

Juan Antonio Martinez Leon (PhD) has a diverse work experience. Juan Antonio began their career as a Research Fellow at the Technical University of Cartagena in 2006. Juan Antonio then joined G's as a Business Analyst, where they played a key role in implementing a strategic system for field production management and warehousing. During their time at G's, Juan also served as an ERP Software Developer and made significant contributions to the upgrade and automation of the company's ERP system. Juan Antonio later became the ERP Software Development Manager, overseeing major tactical projects and achieving cost savings through supplier negotiation and team engagement. Juan's expertise in IT and supply chain management led him to become the Group Development Manager at G's, where they successfully coordinated supply chain projects with major retailers and introduced robot process automation to optimize data flows. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Head of Product Analytics and Data Science, demonstrating their leadership and analytical skills.

Juan Antonio Martinez Leon holds a PhD in Industrial Technologies from the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, which they completed from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Science from the same university, completing it from 2000 to 2003. In 2020, they attended the Cambridge Judge Business School for a program in Business Analytics: Decision Making Using Data. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Project Management, including the Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner certificates from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
