Maarten Vergouwen is an experienced executive with a robust background in IT, e-commerce, and business development. As the Chief Information Officer at GS1 Nederland since November 2021 and a Partner at Ludemus from January 2020, Maarten has been involved in innovative projects related to verifiable credentials, decentralized finance, and next-generation e-commerce platforms. Previously, Maarten held several key positions at ANWB, including CIO/COO of the Travel group, where responsibilities included IT management, e-commerce initiatives, and strategic planning. Additional experience includes interim roles, software development, and analysis at organizations such as Cruise Travel, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Fortis Bank. Maarten holds an MBA from Nyenrode Business University and has completed several executive education programs at prestigious institutions.
