Nick Allison is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic advisory, policy development, and strategic management across multiple sectors. Currently serving as General Manager Government at GS1 New Zealand since 2015, Nick collaborates with government agencies to facilitate the adoption of global data standards. Previous roles include Principal Consulting Economist at the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research, Director at Logic Partners, and Manager Trade Environment at the Ministry of Economic Development. Nick's career also features leadership positions at Hyder Consulting, Foundation for Research Science & Technology, Transfund New Zealand, and EY, complemented by foundational experience at the New Zealand Treasury. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Resource Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Canterbury, along with a Diploma in Horticultural Science from Lincoln University.
