Cheshta Bhatia

101 Seminar Series Leader at GSAS Harvard Biotech Club

Cheshta Bhatia is a current PhD candidate in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, specializing in systems and computational neuroscience. Bhatia serves as a Teaching Fellow for courses related to animal behavior and neurobiology, and leads the 101 Seminar series for the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club. As a Community Scientist with BioBus, Bhatia engages in outreach and education. Bhatia also contributes to science communication as a writer for "Science in the News" and mentors women in science through Harvard Graduate Women in Science (HGWISE). Previous education includes a Master's thesis in computational and theoretical neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and a combined BS/MS degree in Biology from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali.
