Fang Xie has a diverse work experience. From January 2018, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School, focusing on therapeutic resistance in advanced prostate cancer. Fang also conducted a drug screen on cancer 3D/organoid models to identify effective drug combinations as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In September 2022, Fang became the Vice President of the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club and the Co-Director of Communications for the Boston Chapter at Nucleate in August 2021. Fang is currently a Business Development Fellow at Harvard University's Office of Technology Development (OTD), starting in July 2022. Prior to these roles, Fang was a Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic from January 2015 to October 2016.
Fang Xie holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in genetics from Fudan University. In addition, they have obtained additional certifications, including a Mini-MBA from Harvard GSAS Business Club and a Commercialization Technology certification in New Venture Creation for Life Scientists from Boston Children's Hospital.
