Isabella Burdelas

Isabella Burdelas is a Systems Engineer I at GSE Solutions since June 2023 and has been an Assistant Instructor at ITF Maryland since August 2020, contributing to martial arts instruction and tournament assistance. Prior experience includes a Laboratory Intern position at Euclid Techlabs LLC, where Isabella designed and implemented sensor systems for a High Pressure High Temperature reactor and gained insights into laboratory diamond growth. At PYC Nanomaterials Lab, Isabella synthesized MXene nanomaterials and operated laboratory equipment to separate materials. Earlier roles include Office Assistant at the University of Maryland, where organizational and communication skills were developed, and customer service positions at Five Below, ranging from Head Cashier to Sales Associate. Isabella holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, completed in 2023, and graduated with a High School Diploma from Chesapeake High School in 2019.
