Steve Wallis

Steve Wallis has extensive experience in the operations and management field. Steve began their career at GSH Group UK as an HVAC Apprentice Technician, where they completed a 4-year HVAC service and maintenance apprenticeship ahead of schedule. Steve specialized in AC and Refrigeration through an additional 2-year apprenticeship course. Steve received several industry accolades during this time.

Steve later joined GSH Group as a Lead Technician and then moved into a role as a Management Trainee/Dispatcher, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations. Steve then became an Estimator/Project Manager before progressing to NJ Branch Manager. In this role, they managed a team of 30+ HVAC mechanics and oversaw P&L, budgeting, and customer service for over 50 clients.

Steve's next position at GSH Group was as a Regional Operations Director, where they provided leadership and direction to the field personnel. Following this, they served as the Director of Operations, responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the company. Steve'sduties included managing operations for all USA accounts, overseeing budgets and P&Ls, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Most recently, Steve held the role of VP of Operations before leaving GSH Group in July 2022. Steve was also appointed as the Chief Operating Officer in November 1998, indicating their significant contributions and advancement within the company.

Steve Wallis has a strong educational background in the field of air conditioning, refrigeration service/maintenance/installation, and engineering. From 2002 to 2004, they attended MANCAT and obtained an NVQ Level 2 & 3 degree in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service/maintenance/installation, engineering. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2001, Steve attended Salford College, where they obtained an NVQ Level 2 & 3 degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Steve Wallis has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2023, they completed the "CORPORATE GOVERNANCE: MAXIMIZE YOUR EFFECTIVENESS IN THE BOARDROOM" course offered by Emeritus. In 2020, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from the Lean Six Sigma Institute LLC. Steve also holds a State of New Jersey HVACR License, obtained in July 2015, as well as an EPA Universal CFC License, obtained in January 2006. Although not mentioned, Steve Wallis is also planning to or has completed OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
