John Cook

John Cook is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently employed at GSI Environmental Inc. since August 2022, where responsibilities include PFAS fate and transport modeling, preparing engineering reports for TCEQ permit applications, and organizing tests of innovative PFAS treatment technologies. Prior to this role, John served as a Research Assistant at Rice University in both the Doss-Gollin Lab, focusing on probabilistic modeling of water systems, and the Getachew Lab, conducting research on electroactive membranes for reverse osmosis. John's early experience includes an internship at Branch Civil, where civil engineering site design and procurement were primary duties. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University.
