Avidan Akerib has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Avidan began their career in 1979 as an Algorithm and Software Developer in Defense Industries, where they worked on various technologies such as Remotely Piloted Vehicles (RPV), image recognition and analysis, robotics, and signal processing. In 1993, Avidan co-founded and served as President of Associative Computing Ltd (ACL). Avidan Akerib PhD obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 1974 to 1979. Avidan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, which they completed between 1983 and 1986. Avidan further expanded their education by pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 1988 to 1992.
