Gareth Hamer

Gareth Hamer has worked in various roles in the event management industry. Gareth started their career in 2007 at Informa, where they held positions such as Event Organiser, Senior Event Organiser, and Events Manager. In 2013, they became Operations Director at Informa and held that position until 2015, when they joined upstage as Director of Operations for a short period. In 2016, they joined GSMA as Head of Events for the Mobile World Congress. Gareth then took on the role of Head of Event Operations and later became the Client Lead for Google's participation in the event. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Event Operations for GSMA, overseeing the Mobile 360 Series and MWC Africa.

Gareth Hamer attended Swansea University from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a BA Hons degree in Marketing.
