Jefferson Chen

Jefferson Chen is a Partner at GSR Ventures, where he focuses on investments in early-stage companies in the internet, artificial intelligence, FinTech, and enterprise software sectors. Prior to GSR Ventures, Jefferson was Head of Private Investing for Greater China at Farallon Capital, a leading global hedge fund with more than $20 billion in assets under management. Jefferson is an active angel investor in a number of successful startups in China and the US. He is the co-founder of the Chinese Entrepreneur Organization at Stanford (“CEO”), the largest entrepreneurship society at Stanford. Jefferson is also the co-founder & CEO of ADVANCE.AI, an artificial intelligence company. He received a BA in Computer Software with Distinction from Tsinghua University and an MBA from Stanford University.
