Xin Song

Xin Song is the Business Development Director, Asia at GSR. Xin has over fifteen years of experience in consulting and financial services.

Xin started their career at J.P. Morgan in August 2005 and worked there for five years before moving to BearingPoint. At J.P.Morgan, they worked as a consultant in the Strategy and Transformation team.

During their time at BearingPoint, Xin worked on various projects including the Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical Co. Internal Control Project, the Jinjiang Group Luxury Shopping Center Feasibility Study, and the Midea Group Finance Shared Service Center Project. Xin also led the China Southern Power Grid Budgeting Project, the Agricultural Bank of China Management Accounting Project, and the Jinjiang Group Catering Business Strategic Planning Project.

In their current role as Business Development Director, Asia at GSR, Xin is responsible for leading the business development efforts in Asia and expanding GSR’s presence in the region.

Their manager is Jakob Palmstierna, CEO. They work with Anil Shewakramani - Business Development Director, Ciaran Neilan - Marketing Associate, and Josh Gibson - Business Development Director.
