John Spear

John Spear brings extensive experience in the advertising and creative industries, currently serving as Associate Creative Director at GTB since October 2012 and running Spear Creative as an Advertising Creative and Consultant since 2008. Prior roles include Sr. Copywriter/Creative at BBDO Atlanta, ACD positions at MATCH, Inc. and JWT Technology, and Director of Marketing and Operations for the Atlanta Silverbacks Professional Soccer team. John started in the field as a Copywriter at BaylessCronin and an Account Executive at Merkley Newman Harty and J. Walter Thompson. Early career experience includes a marketing internship at 3M Europe. John holds a Master’s degree in International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech.
