Andrea Vélez Builes

Andrea Varrato is an experienced environmental professional with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Allegheny College. Varrato's career includes roles as a Tribal Coordinator at EBI Consulting, where consultation with tribal nations focused on preserving cultural and historic resources, as well as serving as a Clerk Typist II for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, performing administrative tasks. Varrato has held various positions at Downstream Strategies, including Staff Scientist and Field Technician, contributing to environmental monitoring and data analysis. Additional experience includes presenting educational programs at the Carnegie Science Center, editing newsletters for the Guardians of the West Fork Watershed, and assisting in various environmental education and outreach initiatives.
