Prior to that, they served as the Director of Member Business Services at GTE Financial. Manuel has also worked at CenterState Bank, National Bank of Commerce (NASDAQ: NCOM), Regions Bank, The Bank of Tampa, SouthTrust Bank, Barnett Bank, and Espirito Santo Bank in various leadership and banking roles. Manuel has a strong track record of success in market activities, client acquisition, talent acquisition, and culture development.

Manuel Aguilar's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of Florida, which they obtained between 1985 and 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Florida, completing it between 1991 and 1993.
