In addition, Machiel holds a position as a GTM Ramp Member (Investor) at GTMfund since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Sales for EMEA at FastSpring, where substantial growth was achieved from $0 to $3 million ARR alongside expanding the team from 3 to 15 professionals. Machiel's notable tenure at SolarWinds spanned from 2009 to 2018, where achievements included serving as Director of Sales and earning recognition as the #1 Account Executive worldwide in 2015, delivering $1.4 million in ARR and significant quota attainment. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Utrecht University, completed in 2013.
