Kara Philipp

Kara Philipp is a seasoned professional in internal audit with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit at GTT since August 2023, Kara previously held positions such as Senior Manager of Internal Audit at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK and Director of Internal Audit at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Internal Audit at EarthLink and Internal Audit Senior at Paychex. Kara began a career in auditing at Davie Kaplan, CPA, P.C. as a Senior Auditor and gained initial experience as a Corporate Accounting intern at HSBC. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Canisius University.
