Ahmed Halaby

Ahmed Halaby has extensive work experience in the field of technology. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Solution Architect / Lead Developer at guard.me International Insurance, where they are responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud migration strategy. Ahmed also designs secure cloud-based solutions and identifies opportunities for application modernization.

Prior to their current role, Ahmed worked at 247 Labs as a Senior Solutions Architect & Lead Developer, Senior Backend & Dev Ops Engineer, and Senior Technical Lead. Ahmed also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Tawfeer Market, where they played a vital role in the development and growth of their quick commerce app for groceries.

Ahmed has also worked as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Poliigon, a Dev Ops Engineer at Spren (Elite HRV), and a Technical Team Lead at travelfox. In addition, they gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer at PlusXMS and ITplusARAB.

Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated their expertise in cloud architecture, application development, and technical leadership. Ahmed has a proven track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions and delivering results.

Ahmed Halaby completed a Nanodegree in Cloud Computing with a focus on Advanced Cloud DevOps from Udacity in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Alexandria University from 2004 to 2008. Ahmed also obtained additional certifications including the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023, and the Advanced Cloud DevOps certification from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Egypt in 2022.
