Dan Abert, BSBA has over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, and security services. In 2013, they began their career as an Electronic Tracking-Area Manager at Bluetracs, LLC (formally ETS). In 2004, they were a Security-Sr. Business Development Manager at Yale Enforcement Services, Inc. where they were responsible for developing new security services and electronic security equipment business at the local, regional, and national levels. In 2017, they became an Independent Consultant at A+ Asset Protection Services. In 2018, they were a Business Development Manager at Guard911. In 2019, they were a Business Development Manager at Project K-9 Hero, where they worked to protect retired Military Working Dogs and Police K-9 Heroes. Since 2021, they have been a Business Development Manager at CJD E-Cycling, Inc., where they have tripled the customer database by adding new hospitals, community unit school districts, law enforcement agencies, electronic industry security dealers and distributors, as well as financial and banking organizations.

Dan Abert obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville between 1978 and 1982, with a field of study in Marketing and Mass Communications. Dan has also obtained a number of certifications since then, including the Illinois Sheriffs Association Conference in 2016, the Southern Illinois Criminal Justice Summit-Effingham in 2016, the Southern Illinois Criminal Justice Summit-Mt. Vernon in 2015, the Cook County Retail Organized Crime Conference in 2014, the Public-Private Coordination in Emergency Response Recovery-Capstone 14 Review in 2014, the NADDI in 2014, the St. Louis Harbor Fleeting Security Coalition Exercise in 2011, the Chemical-terrorism Vulnerability Information in 2009, and ASIS Member in 2021.
